Brennon is crawling!

We went to play at a mall with Katelynn's friend Olivia and they all had fun
climbing on everything, even Brennon.


Brennon is now crawling. He started a couple days before we left for
Vegas and while we were there he kicked it into high gear and took off. Oh no!
Now that I'm home I am baby proofing like crazy.

One thing that I can't baby proof is Sierra. He has already found out
how fun it is to torture her. As always, she just takes it.

Baby week

My sister had twins two weeks ago and I went to Vegas to visit for the week. I took Brennon and we tried to survive with 3 babies. I called it musical babies. They were so adorable and so fun to hold. Tanner and Kayla Hardman.


We had to put all three babies in the back of her Elantra. It was a little tight!



Brennon wanted to play with Tanner so he pulled himself up and tried to steal his
blanket. It was so cute!

Summer fun

Matt and I have been running to the pool and then swimming
to get in shape. I thought it was too cute that Brennon fell asleep
on the way home.

They are starting to have fun playing together.

Luau Murder Mystery

We had a murder mystery dinner to get to know some people in our new
ward. It was so much fun and the guy on the left is in our bishopric and
he ended up being the murderer.... We love our new ward and are making
lots of new friends.

Kids make me laugh

Today Katelynn told me to get the camera and take a picture of her and Hudson eating
crackers. How could I resist! She and Hudson were so funny today - She told me we
should go to "Old MacDonald's had a farm" for lunch --- Hudson has been saying
"Oh my Heck" (wonder where he lives...) and she has been running around with a
Dora bandaid on her nose because she got a rug burn.

I'm now to the point where Brennon goes naked to snack time
We have now experienced the real Texas after going to the Historic
Stockyards in Fort Worth. Katelynn loved all the cowboy stuff.

I told Matt the other day when we were at the pool that it doesn't get
any better than this, laying at the pool with Dr. Pepper in hand! (Chris
and Joy would appreciate that)

Katelynn and Brenn0n have had to learn to keep themselves occupied in a new house. Here are a couple of examples ....


Brennon is going to be our gymnist/wrestler. His favorite thing to do is do the
backbend on his head and heels. He does it on our floor and scoots around
on his head.


Katelynn is still taking advantage of how mellow our dog is. She was
tracing her paw on the doodle pad.

Rain, rain go away!

For those of you who don't watch the news, there has been crazy flooding in Texas. Over the weekend we were all excited to go and check out the lakes by our house. We found plenty of water! With all the rain, the lakes are overflowing into the parks, roads, etc.

Fun with the Hallings

Brian, Kerrian, and Hudson came to visit us in Dallas and we all had so much fun! Thanks guys for a great time and we can't wait to see you again....



The kids ran outside during one of our many rain showers. They had so much
fun playing in the puddles and streams, we had to let them get quite
wet and dirty :)






At least with all the rain we are getting, we got to see a beautiful rainbow
