Here we are sliding through the rocks into the water. It was like a real waterslide.
The water was like this most of the way. We swam through the rocks and it was so beautiful.
My two brothers drove all the way from Virginia to Utah and were nice enough to come through Texas to see us and the kids. We had fun with them even though it rained the whole time. But we did get to go bowling and play mini golf.
I am still in school and really enjoying it. I am more than half way and am so excited about that! We had a hawaiian day and I actually did the limbo. Pretty funny.

So of course they retaliated. One of the jokes was to put on Craigs list that we were selling a corvette for $5000 dollars because my husband left me. We got about 30 calls. ha, ha..

The warm, clear water was so fun to play in. I could have enjoyed just the beach every day.
We went to church there and it was a really cool experience. I couldn't understand much, but the people were all so friendly and it was just like church here. Lucky for my single brothers we ran into a group of 30 BYU students (mostly girls).
Here is a picture of everyone that went (except Kyle who left early, party pooper..) All the boys are my brothers and my sister and mom are in front with my sister in law on the right. My grandma also came and it was so fun to spend time with her.

We also went to some really neat caves. They had pools inside where we took a ferry across to a beautiful haven in the middle.
One night at our hotel a model came to take pictures in the pool with bodyguards and all. We dared our single brother to run and do a cannonball with all his clothes on and get her all wet. We couldn't believe it, but he actually did it and the men in suits actually chased him down. Luckily he got away and we made it out of town the next morning safe. It was great though to see her scream when he did it.
We went to see Christopher Columbus' tomb and remains. This was the monument built for him.
All the boys went wind surfing one day and had fun even after coming home with battle wounds.

We decided everyone there had something to sell. This lady was selling shoes on her head. Now that takes balance.
An example of the amazing work the power companies over there do. Wouldn't quite pass code in the US.
This was a street there with people selling fruit and vegetables all along the street like a market. It was cool, but I was definately wary of eating anthing sitting out in the sun all day with the flies.
This was a taxi we took. Each time we had to fit 7-8 people in each taxi and it was quite the experience. If anything had four wheels there, it was a taxi, whether licensed or not. Most of them did not have a working odometer or gas gauge. Not that it mattered since they were the craziest drivers you have ever seen and they never follow stop signs, stop lights, lane markings, or speed limits. My poor grandma about had a heart attack.

We have had fun this week with a slip n slide my mom gave the kids. They loved it! Matt and I even tried it a few times and I came out with bruises all over my knees and sore ribs. I guess it really is for kids...
My friend Rebecca turned 30 and we had a party for her at our house. It was so much fun and we played games and rock band and even taught everyone how to play pounce. (My favorite). Thanks Becca for a great party and happy 30th!

Katelynn and I have also had Mommy daughter time. We are having so much fun now that she is older and we can play more.
